Looks like we're all getting a late start - Cheers!
I'll join in on the Celebration. Wanted to crack these open last night to toast the
Braves victory and the success of local hero Ian Anderson!
Not to be confused with Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull
Grocery shopping done and having a mid morning Bud while making lunch plans.
Brooklyn - Winter IPA (can).. cheers!
Working through the final case worth of Spring / Early Summer beer and found this beauty (and have one more to boot)!
Half Acre Navaja
Science (refrigerated since canning) and taste buds say this is still on point, even now.
Left Hand Smores Milk Stout.
Good afternoon, BAs!
Celebration. Tasting great again this year. I love the reddish color and the malty head on this. The hops taste really fresh. I like the 6.8%. I've saved the bottles before and kept them really cold to drink into the spring and summer and they held up very well. Not so confident in the cans.
In general I'm not a fan of cans, but I'm happy with what I've gotten so far. I would
think aging for a year in the can would be fine. I don't age Celebration on purpose,
but I have had a few bottles that were 2-3 years old. Not bad, definitely drinkable
Good afternoon, BAs. Had a shitty illness for about 10 days and I'm just snapping out of it. Four negative covid tests later, I'm having a beer on my birthday!
This is a Casa Bonita Mexican lager from Wrecking Bar. Drinking it at Stout Brothers in downtown Roswell. Had a Sullivan's dry stout before.
Trying to enjoy beers at Smith Alley Brewing Company in Sheridan, WY.
Wet Hopped West Coast Pale Ale

This was my third time at Smith Alley and I was hoping for improvements.
I will not return.
Picked up a couple cans of Great Notion sours. Trying this one out first. As usual, very good.
Spencer Monks Reserve Belgian quad
Glad your feeling better.
Day off for medical exams,
Home now enjoying home brewed Brown Ale
Listen to your Docs
3F's Alpha Klaus!
Good afternoon from WNC. The sun is hiding and the temps are only rising into the upper 40's today. This is the time of the year i will miss my adopted hometown of PHX which i am sure is enjoying low 80's and abundant sunshine.
Hitting up the Costco Beer Advent case today for a couple of pints. The first one is an interesting hybrid of the Marzen and Fest styles and it comes across the palate pretty well!
Good day Advocates! Thanx @JoeBloe for tapping today's thread. Busy day here. Ladders and such. Finally said feck it. Time for a brew and a bonus burn. Cheers! Keep on smiling!
What’s up BA.
@GreenBayBA sent me a box so large, UPS hired Mark Henry himself to help carry it up the stairs to my apartment. Where he also came into my home and bent all my silverware in a display of power to remind me, he was in fact “The World’s Strongest Man.”
Micah, thank you my brother!!! Seemed like the box kept adding beer the more I took out of it!
My first New Glarus — Spotted Cow and it is magnificent.
Not quite a cow, but Athena is spotted and is joining me on this lovely 55° afternoon on the patio. While Petal enjoys the heat of the couch!
By All Means Brew Lab -- Radiant Aurua (witbier) -- 53 °F
You all will have to forgive me for celebrating but the Atlanta Braves finally broke the Atlanta sports curse that was setting in. Now we just need the UGA Dawgs to top off the sports year. What better way to celebrate than with Reformation/Wild Heaven A Hail The Home Run King German style Pilsner. Made to honor Henry "The Hammer" Aaron. Well done Reformation & Wild Heaven! Cheers all!
What would be more appropriate today...
Finishing off some random Fresh Hop brews that have been kicking around. Ferments Chinook FH. A bit piney, but a touch too frooty for me.
Bells Sideyard, excellent beer, fresh hopped NEIPA, pick it up while its available!
I played a few shows with The Cows! The drummer was a bartender at the 400 bar for ages! One show was in Pittsburgh in about 1990 on tour with Roger Miller (Mission Of Burma) and the bar gave us a 16 gal keg of Rolling Rock. OMG...!
A twofer today huh? Well done sir!
That must have been a great time...
'Twas. The green room was a back horseshoe bar. If I recall correctly the 3rd band was Ambulance. They toured in an old 1960's ambulance...which we partied in Cheers!
Working my way through my Belgian beers. Another classic, St. Bernardus Prior 8. A Belgian Double. Can hardly tell it's 8% ABV. Defintely hitting the spot as the temps drop this afternoon. Cheers!
ps-The Dawgs are nasty, so it may just happen! Cheers!
Awesome tune! And, of course, great beer!
Maine Beer Company, Peeper...always love this brewery.
Joni Mitchell spinning. Live at Canterbury House 1967.
Rainy, dreary day, and its actually going to get into the 50's here so some cold weather beers coming up
This is a new one for me. From across the mighty St. Croix river it's Leinie Dark Lager. Very light on it's feet and very easy drinking. Choco malts, lightly floral, med-lite bodied and quaffable. Cheers Advocates!
