    Pours a dank, hazy, murky dark golden color. There's a good amount of head - 2 finger, and it's white and fluffy. The retention is quite good, and there's some nice lacing on the glass. There's also some floaties in the glass.
    The nose is tropical. I get notes of pineapple and guava.
    Taste is like the nose - tropical. Guava and pineapple are strong, but not over the top.
    The body is soft, juicy, thick, and creamy feeling. The hops stick and linger in my throat a bit.
    Solid Triple IPA.

    Hello again,
    Time for a lunch beer
    [IMG]
    The Helles from Indiana that I had earlier was not good. Let's hope a pilsner made by a Bavarian Helles brewer fairs better.
    Cheers all!

    Dark amber body, nearly brown in appearance; clear; excellent carbonation thin yet lasting head, fine rings of foam decorate the glass. Nice aroma, primarily green chili, not too strong; mild malt scent. Spicy, peppery green chili flavor with a subtle malt underpinning; lightly bready. Medium body; velvety smoothness; excellent chili heat warms the palate;

    I love a good chili beer, one that tastes great yet has some depth and complexity to the flavor, plus a nice head (many chili beers don't seem to be able to create any lasting head). This is simply a beautiful chili beer.

    Poured at 51 F; crowler canned November 13th, 2021

    ...a busy day and it ain't even noon yet!...due to a garage conversion, got a 750# safe and washer and dryer moved (not be me, movers), got the newer detached garage organized and the safe contents pretty much squared away, and started supper - green chili pork steaks with a splash of Smiling Toad's chili beer as well...

    Good afternoon, advocates. Just got back from a nice frisbee golf outing in the woods. Very challenging course. Getting into it with some Chromoscope from Finback. Cheers!

    DDH Space Diamonds from Other Half. I've heard some chatter about the melon-forward notes in their beers of late. Not in this one, advocates. Not even remotely. This is that good-good, so to speak. Much love, and peace.

    Riwaka Foudre Beer, a dry-hopped Wild Ale aged in oak barrels by English brewery Cloudwater (9.2%).

    I think this makes for a very interesting hybrid beer that feels a bit like a cross between a NEIPA and a Wild Ale with its quite hoppy, juicy character and tart, funky and oaky highlights, with the rather zesty citrus notes standing out here.

    Just picked up some more fresh G-Bot to restock the fridge before they sell out. Fresh drops tend to go quickly.
