    Full review in the Cellar Review thread. Bottom line this is drinking as well as it was a year ago, barrel and coconut taste held on well, though the aromas are less prominent.

    @LarryV - Really enjoyed your Blues Project set. I do enjoy sharing beers at the virtual bar, but the music is also top shelf and really appreciate your homebrewed tunes and other suggestions. Didn't get to the Scream tune before it was taken down, but have enjoyed several times in the past. Blues Project reminds me a lot of OG Fleetwood Mac before the jump.

    310 California Blonde

    Not sure how a beer like this should taste. Definitely sweet and has some elements of a Hefeweizen and Belgian Blonde. Yeasty, spicy with a hint of clove and banana. Very refreshing and drinkable.

    There is a strange smell that I don't like but this beer tastes fine. Not impressed but also not disappointed.

    look: 4.25 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.75 | overall: 4.5

    Thick, dark brown pour; black in appearance in the glass; thick, frothy tan head; . Dark roasted grain and cocoa permeate the nose; dull sweetness. Cocoa powder and rich chocolate flavor soon followed with a nice bourbon undertone; subliminal sweet cherry around the finish. Heavy body; soft and velvety with an offsetting boozy dryness; chewy.

    The taste and mouthfeel really make this beer. The use of cherry wood does seem to add a nice added level of fruity sweetness to the mix.

    Good afternoon BA's, just got back from a wonderful walk with sunny skies and upper 60's temps. Today's first choice is North Coast Old Rasputin XXIII in Rye Barrels. Overall a very good nose and taste but was pretty thin for an 11.0+ abv brew.
