A cold start to the round, but it's warmed up to 65 degrees. A good day for golf!
    Elevated IPA post golf.

Was listening to some Polaris earlier today. Thought I'd share.

Things lightened up ever so slightly at work today, so a slightly lighter beverage is in order, one could argue:

Didn’t mean to hold Florence for three months, but it doesn’t seem to have suffered too much. Then again, how would I know, not having had it fresh

Have you had a chance to try anything else by Elder Pine? If so, curious what you thought.

I liked a few of their saisons and their hazy IPAs weren’t bad (granted, they were pretty fresh at brewery). Don’t recall trying anything dark. I think I have one of their beers in the fridge, might go for it next.

Xocoveza Tres Leches, a Milk Stout with spices, by American brewery Stone (8.5%).

This makes for a very nice version of Xocoveza that feels quite similar to the original, although perhaps a bit sweeter and just a tad heavier on the coffee and cinnamon, but it's really hard to tell from memory, would love to try this side-by-side with a normal Xocoveza.

My experience has been three to six months is the sweet spot for Florence.

Good evening Advocates! I'm a sucker for oat stouts and milk lactose stouts - this is pretty darn decent. Never heard of this brewery before.

Smooth and creamy milk stout with oats, cacao nibs, and a touch of cold brew.

In comfortably under the wire

Ooh - another somewhat local brew in the thread tonight. Hope you're enjoying it!! Maybe I will have one myself later.

    <<Why am I feeling déjà vu?>>

    Oh, yeah...

Interesting brew - the rice and wine barrel I think are generating a weird mix that is somewhat similar to a woodier version of Montueka.
