The good news from the fallout was that Parcells became coach the next season. If I recall, they fell on the ball the play before Pisarchik handed off to Czonka's kidney and Herman Edwards earned his place in NFL Valhalla.

Having a classic Anchor Steam Beer, 4.9%, rich caramel malts with mild hoppy spices and a depth of flavor that is just phenomenal - there's really not much else like it! Cheers!

 

I was a Giants fan when I lived in NJ but when I went to college in Pennsylvania I became a Steeler fan. My timing was good because they won four super bowls. Moved to Virginia in 1974 and became a Redskins fan. The rest is sad history.

Earlier at bowling. Fistmas for the Mrs, Rocket Queen for me. And that sentence reads as poorly as I thought it would.
For what would have been Frank Sinatra’s birthday, a 3/2/1. Three ice cubes, two fingers of Jack, one splash of water. We were at the bottom of two bottles.

I should probably start posting Christmas tunes here. Might as well start with the birthday boy.

With the only other tap being Bells Two Hearted, I'm all goo with everything here. Including being immersed in this Franzen novel, The Corrections. One of those books I have had around forever, but never read. I did finish his new novel that came out this year, and wanted to get more into his stuff. Of coarse its familial troubles and philosophy around Christmas time, and I can't put it down.

Started the day with a “Dead Irish Poet”, and this will be the last beer for the day:



Spent the first part of the day filtering mulled (non-alcoholic) apple cider to blend with some vintage pear brandy, and the last part filtering more mulled cider and blending it with Everclear.

Had a bottle of “local” wine along the way…

Not sure but I would doubt it. I bought it at my local Market that specializes in locally produced meats and cheeses
