@DoctorZombies - I agree with your assessment regarding BCBS over the past two years. Between price and quality, I haven’t been as impressed for the most part over the past few years, and for the first year since diving into craft passed on any draft or bottle purchases this season. The regular version is better than most of the variants.

The barrel only variants are the others I’ve enjoyed of late, but they are pricey so I’ll wait for 312 day if that ever returns (GI festival all proceeds go the charity) for future pours of these. Still have a few dozen in my cellar, should have gave you and the others some in July.

It may be Hump Day for most everyone but today is my Friday. Gonna take several days off work and looking forward to it. Probably visit a brewery or two. Working on a crowler of my local brewery NoFo Brew Co Summit Skies Helles 5.3% ABV. Pretty decent brew from these guys. Very enjoyable beer. Cheers all!

On to something a little stronger. One of my favorite winter beer styles and one of the most underappreciated for that matter - Doppelbock. Paulaner Salvator checking in at 7.9% ABV. My only complaint about this , and many German brews, is it comes in this very unfortunate 11.2 oz bottle. Pint please!!! Heaven in a bottle! Prost!
