Has anyone tried the Rodenbach 200th Anniversary Red Tripel here yet?? I am really curious about it, and my local shops didn't get a ton of it.

Good afternoon BAs! My visit with the surgeon went well this morning. He said I can get by fine with a torn biceps tendon, no corrective action needed. Time to start PT for the post shoulder surgery rehabilitation. A lunch beer - “Fresh” IPA from Civil Society:

I like this beer, so I stopped at the TW on my way home and grabbed another 4pk (and more BCBS(2021)). Canned 12/23/21…bright citrus bitterness with a firm malt foundation. Tasty stuff. Cheers y’all and have a terrific Tuesday!

A flurry of activity here. We're leaving tomorrow to visit family in Florida.
If you're a fan of peaty, smoky beers, give this one a try.

Good day Advocates! and thanks there @ChicagoJ for todays thread. Great to be here. I just hopped off Ye Oulde Treadmille after a snappy lil' 5 miler and I'm thoroughly enjoying a can of Hamm's. Yes! That is truly fun water if there ever was! Ubermegaultrasuper EZ drinkin'. "From the land of sky blue waters"...which are now covered with 36 inches of solid ice. BTW one of the classic Hamm's promo pics & backlit wall signs is a little island on Half Moon Lake just south of Eveleth, MN which is visible from Hwy 53...scrubby black spruce & pine...It's fun as hell to drive out onto a lake and fish thru a hole. Crazy? Naaaah.
CHEERS! Beers! Have fun and keep on smiling!

Sweetwater Brewing Co. -- 420 Strain G13 IPA
    India pale ale

Clear, medium gold hue; excellent carbonation; thick, sculpted head, white and rocky in appearance. Pine resin scent with an undercurrent of grassy herbs; faint woodiness. Nice flavor; pine resin and zesty spices; very mild malt base, biscuit-like; moderate to bold hop bitterness starting midway into the taste and lingering through the finish. Medium body; mildly coarse on the palate; semi-dry mouthfeel with a touch of glassy sweetness to round things out.

A very nice, straight-forward west coast style India pale. Clean, crisp, satisfying.

Nugget Nectar '22. Count me among those who find this year's batch good, not great. A perfectly fine amber ale, but nothing like the glory days when you could smell it from across the room. Also, I finished a lot of DDH King Sue over the last few days, so my bar's set pretty high right now.

    Meanwhile, LOVING this album . . .
