I wasn't planning on drinking today, but I just received a case of Little Guatemala (Imperial Stout aged on cacao nibs and coffee beans) from Fonta Flora. And there was one casualty. Luckily it didn't explode, but it had a tiny pinhole.



This is very rich, especially for an 8.5% ABV. Thick, sticky, a little sweet and a little bitter. Yum!

Good day BA's! Having at least a few to get my mind off my chihuahua puppies. Started with 4 pups now I'm down to 2 and I'm sure a 3rd is about to pass on. I'm pretty sure it's distemper. Fucking sucks to watch. Sorry for my venting/depressing post. Let's get to the beer. Enjoying a Bells Two Hearted atm. Cheers!

 

Back home now and drinking a fresh “Fresh” from Civil Society:



Canned 12/23/21. I picked up another 4/pk this morning; I’m going to enjoy this beer while it lasts here…Cheers y’all and have a magnificent Monday!

 

I'm having a Love City Sylvie Stout. They get a whole lot out of a pretty light 5.0% ABV. There's a lot of roasty malts as well as strong espresso and mild chocolate. I've come across a couple from Love City and they seem to be legit.

 

Nothing, right now, a few this evening I guess. Just tested positive for the Rona. Not much more than Cold or Mild Flu symptoms. Tastebuds & sense of smell seem to be intact. The earliest I can go back to work is Thursday.

Awesome. Somewhat of celebration beer after the news that I passed for a work related test that I believed was beyond my level.

Good day there Advocates! Thanks @JamFuel for rolling out todays thread along with @Shanex as co-pilot. "Surely you can't be serious." "I am serious...and don't call me Shirley." Just finished moving snow for 2.5 hrs in 8F degrees with -5F wind chill and filled all 3 of my bird feeder tubes with peanut pickouts and sunflower chips. Didn't take long for occupancy there. Royally enjoying this 8.8% Elysian Full Contact Imp Hazy IPA. It has a huge pineapple bread aroma right outa the can. What a great brew! and perfect to help me thaw out. Keep on smiling! Cheers!

Never seen that one. Looks good.
Going for some beer shopping in Germany one of the coming weeks when I'm near the border for some visits. Returning a dusty Hofbrau crate with empties too, after almost two years by now.
