    Goldfinger Pils. After having plenty of this style and this particular beer, this is one of the, if not, the best German Pils I've had.

    Its been a long time since Ive had that but remembering it was a great brew. A true, real, classic Imperial IPA.

    G'evening BA's!

    Well the wife's CTA test was today and the doctor just called and told her she has a very small blood clot and she needs to go on a blood thinner for 6 months. So that's good news!

    Picked a couple cans of this up at Wawa tonight.

    Double Oaked Woodford Reserve is one of my faves...

    Great old school classic IPA choice, too...

    Abomination Brewing “scaphism” imperial milk stout. 17%abv. Sometimes that makes for an incredible concentrated flavor - and as a fan of barrel proof whiskeys I really enjoy that in small doses- but this is just an abomination. This is oddly bitter and just super undrinkable. At this point I should know better about lactose in stouts unless we’re talking about an old school moderate alcohol milk stout. I’ve enjoyed the other beers I’ve had from this brewer but this might be someone’s jam. Definitely not mine.

    It’s a collab between Transient and a beer store named Open Bottle. Named after a dog, like Transient does. There’s also one named Sweet Little Junie.

    @LarryV are you a fan of George Benson's guitar playing? I know most people know him for his smooth jazz stuff (which I'll never be a fan of, not just his, but anybodies in the genre which includes some of my all time favorite artists but thats another discussion). Though his early 70's CTI albums are masterful, and he was playing with everyone going back to the early 60's. So I kind of just ignore anything past Breezin' :slight_smile:

    Anyway, Live Oak Hefe and Benson's Beyond The Blue Horizon. Love this album, and Pete Turner's photography.

    Just having one for now as I’m heading to the Symphony tonight with my daughter. Sibelius Symphony number 1 and a couple of other numbers, none of which I know but it should be good. I will be back here later for a couple more.

    I’m making this a good one. I had a couple of wild ales yesterday after infrequently having many for awhile. Here’s a lambic from Tilquin with red currants in proper glassware. This is fantastic.
