An hour ago..Cheesecake. Cold milk.
Jai Alai sunset
it's freezing outside so I'm hanging out by the fireplace with some Breakfast Stout .
So delicious. I was sitting at home and had a taste for some hoppy goodness. I had 2Xipa but i wanted a different kind of hoppiness and this is what i decided on. I should really buy this more often lol
I don't review often but i have recently gotten into it. Here is my review.
Also, dear god i am happy this week is done. 27 hours at work between the day before and black friday? Yeah, i def need this beer. And maybe another.
Cheers ladies and gentlemen!
I was looking forward to this but didn't realize I bought the Calvados Barrel edition. Smells and tastes like I'm drinking wine. Since I don't like wine.....yuck
One of the best beers I have only had once in my life! Such a tasty brew.
I ended up walking out of the store with a bottle of Sucaba (Abacus), and a pack each of FBS and Narwhal. I may skip finishing of the SA seasonal sixer!
Still on my thanksgiving case of "el dorado".
Schell's Snowstorm, Biere de Noel this year.
Its Black Friday, fuck it. Vintage 2011
It really is. I have no idea why i dont buy it more often lol
Went home for Thanksgiving and found some NG Hometown Blonde still on the shelf. Sadly, it's starting to skunk, but after the first couple of sips you get over it and it's *almost* as good as I remember it (from all of two months ago). Not sure what to move on to after that but that's ok, considering I have to be at work at 6:30 tomorrow morning.
having a Deschutes BB Porter... chocolate goodness on Black Friday!
Stone Enjoy by 12-21-12! Thanks Stone!
The Birthday roll continues. My friend has a daughter who I share my birthday with. For her birthday she wanted jump off a 30ft cliff into the pool at the bottom of a set of falls at local park. I watched. Kids these days! Now at Kulshan Brewing, the 3rd of the three local breweries I'm supporting here on White Friday, with a Kitten Mitten, their new Winter Warmer. This is what keeps some people mentally warm:
I'm always happy to celebrate Buy Nothing Day but honest, ma, this corked and caged rascal followed me home from work.
Got a six pack of Founders Porter. Glad I did that. Also got a bottle of Great Lakes Christmas ale. tis the season
My Favorite Sam Adams I would have to say!
Went down to McK's tavern and had 2 glasses of Palo Santo Marron/now at home drinking a Green Flash West Coast IPA,then Sam Adams Merry Mischief and probably finish off the night with a Rogue Santas Private Reserve with a Rocky Patel cigar
Alpha king on Cask @ 3F pub.
Can you say Silky smooth flavor!
I had this in Birmingham at the J Clyde a couple of weeks ago and loved it. I came home and read every review here on BA and on the other beer site. Not one reviewer mentioned a taste that myself and the two friends with me really picked up on. I don't know if it was an off keg or what, but all three of us enjoied it. The flavor and smell we got up front was bubble gum. Kinda wierd but we all liked it.
long day at work, but can't complain as I've got the Michigan basketball game on and I'm drinking this:
My first Celebration.
This follows Founders Bolt Cutter, Founders Better Half, Lost Abbey '09 Angel's Share, Bourbon Barrel Sea Monster on nitro, '06 Brooklyn Monster on tap today
First Old Ale I have ever thoroughly enjoyed. Fantastic brew.
Fegley Brewworks Hop-solutely
the picture isn't sideways, i just glued the bottom of the bottle to the wall.

Surley Abrasive, thanks to FourBetter for setting me up.
Wow, I'm spoiled with our local IPAs and I'm almost always disappointed when I try a hyped one. This one is beautiful. If I lived in Minnesota, I'd be drinking one of these while sitting on ten cases of it. Well done Surly.
Odd Side Citra Pale Ale. Outstanding!
Sam Adam's Winter Variety Pack:
Holiday Porter and Old Fezziwig Ale
Nice! You boys weren't fuckin' around.
A SA Holiday Porter, NB Snow Day, and about to open a SA Chocolate Bock with some dessert. Nothing crazy, but all very nice easy drinking cold weather beers.
3 floyds Gorch Fock. Love it!!
Finishing off an aged bomber of Terrapin Big Daddy Vlady RIS in honor of Black Friday. Or rather Black Fried-day.
