Good day BA  Hope everyone is having a good day so far!

Sadly my beer seems a little infected and tastes like a slightly sour, peated red wine :grimacing:

Please don't hate me ...this was by far my absolute most awesome beer experience ever just last night:

Finally caught up with GI bottle samplings. The Goose Island reps, including Erica, Anna, and Mike Siegel (one of the brewers) were wonderful people. They recognized how much of a fan I am of their beers and went out of their way to hook me up. I ended up with the 3 empty bottles and the Rare box as souvenirs.

    Cheers!

No hate on you, awesome score buddy! They need to hook you up with some decent glassware though for that quality of beer.

First time having it. It was AWESOME! I had the coffee stout and cherry rye the night before and BCBS a few months ago, the Rare bested them all!

No doubt! I wish they did, but man, I was so excited that I could barely eat my dinner let alone being concerned about the glassware

Awesome  I am glad that not all the bottles out there have nose dived like the one I had a month or so ago!

Thats awesome man, GI just had a sampling here in my hometown (they are finally bringing some of there big hitters in) and I got to sample Sofie, Matilda, Pepe Nero, and Pere Jacques yesterday at the tasting! It was an awesome experience to see that good brews are finally being brought to the sticks.

I really hate the photos you use, man. They point out too well the gross inadequacy of all my sucky-by-comparison photos.

Keep up the good work, seeing your pix makes me thirsty way too early in the day for safety haha.

didn't get to post this last night due to amount of people at my house, but i have to say, after being SEVERELY let down by Chocolate Rain, I didn't have high expectations for this one, but this beer was epic and absolutely blew me away. cheers!

I really like how you edit you photos together! What is your process (sorry to go off topic)?

Thanks! It's really simple. I take photos with my iPhone and use ProCollage (there is a free version or pay $1 for the "pro" version). I've tried many other "stitching" apps, but this one is my favorite. After I collage to photos, I use Snapseed app (free) to adjust (mainly for contrast, brightness, and saturation). Snapseed has a nice "selective" adjustment feature for you to brighten dark areas (which can occur often due to variations of multiple photos).

Also, I don't use it, but Picasa has a decent collaging function if you take photos with your regular cameras.

Yes aren't the huntmasters pictures bothersome what with all that clarity and detail. Plus who wants to look at beer all day :astonished: besides me I mean. Cheers BA! [IMG]
