Can received in Bif 14 from @snaotheus

    Brewers notes: ABV: 5.5%
    IBU’S: 38
    Tasting Notes
    Golden, aromatic, hoppy, experimental

…Single Hop Lager is an opportunity for us to master our knowledge about the noble hop varietals we use and experiment with U.S. and other new world hop varietals. By using a simple malt bill & lager yeast, we allow the hops to shine through. We are excited to get to know these hops better and for our guests who drink Single Hop Lager to enjoy the beer and learn more about hops too!

This new rendition of Single Hop Lager uses the NW varietal Adeena. Adeena hops show herbal and spicy flavor characteristics, with light floral, lemon and pine notes. It lends a low, smooth bitterness with a clean finish…..

Two finger big bubbled frothy white foam cap, good retention. Clear golden liquid with active carbonation streams.

    Aroma is floral, lavender, herbal

Taste is floral , herbal , lavender, lemon citrus , hint of pepper spiciness , bit of grassiness

    Mouthfeel is clean and crisp

Adeena hops are interesting , floral and herbal . Not a pairing I usually like but in this case well used

    Good beer !

Extremum Fato, an Imperial Stout aged in Rye barrels by Estonian brewery PĂĽhaste (12%).

The Silver Series by PĂĽhaste never disappoints, being some of the finest BA beers that Europe has to offer. While this is just a tad too floral for my personal taste, probably from the coffee variety used here it still makes for a very rich and complex brew.

Haven’t been to Chicken+Beer in a minute. Seeing my wife off at the airport when she goes to Miami next month, seems like a good excuse to do so.

Cold night means Sam Smith Oatmeal Stout, and some Scotch. Tomatin 12 YO, its pretty damn good. Especially for only $30 a bottle.

Oh, and this amazing, and sometime overlooked Herbie Hancock album, Speak Like a Child. Original Blue Note pressing :sunglasses:

Settled in for the evening and watching IU play at home against Maryland. I think it's only appropriate to crack an Imperial Red Ale for this one.

Yeah, good stuff. I slightly prefer it to Celebration. All gone here, or I'd get more. Didn't see any in cans. 12pk? I was hoping, but saw only 6pks.

    Happy Birthday! :beers:

Wow, didn't know they still make that. Haven't seen it in ~forever. Not sure if I've ever had it.
Have you had Saranac House Lager? (haven't seen that in >2 yrs) If so, how's it compare?

    Evenin' all
This is pretty good, but has a faint lime flavor towards finish , that I don't think quite goes with the program.
