Hello Advocates! Thanks to @barneyrubble for being on top of todays thread. I'm currently enjoying this new-to-me 21st Amendment Down To Earth Session IPA. It kinda has an "orange drink" taste rather than OJ and finishes fast & clean. Good citrus for 42IBU and I like it more than the Odell GB Session IPA from ystrdy. I got 87octane fuel for $3.59 gal (truck) and 91non-oxy (for small engines) for $4.29 gal today. Ouch. But I know the price is higher in other cities. Cheers & keep on beering!!

Good afternoon, advocates. Just finished setting up my Note 22 (ahem, S22 Ultra). This is for all intents and purposes a Galaxy Note, and I am here for it. I've been using the Note series exclusively since the 2nd iteration. As most of you know, I am loyal to things that I like. For example, IPA. Speaking of which, this Vallejo from Half Acre is an underrated gem, IMO. Absolutely love this one. My dad swung by earlier and gave me a 4-pack. Thanks, dad! Cheers, everyone!

Wow, slow day here at the virtual bar, eh?

Back from a nice, albeit chilly walk.....almost 30, but a brisk north wind makes it feel colder

Time to rock out with yer Bock out!

not a fan of the green bottle, but the beer is solid, as are most German brews

Galactic Broken Heels from New Trail. I'm really digging that juicy up front, bitter on the back end feel to this one. That is a win with me every single time. Peace...

Good afternoon BA's, another lovely day today with temps in the mid-70's in Western NC.
Today's choice is unfortunately well aged due to my all-around incompetence LOL! I picked this NEIPA up back in November off of a warm shelf and i knew the canning date was late July 2021. Then i lost sight of not drinking an older brew right away. Surprisingly the flavors are still bright, but any kind of balancing hop has faded. Still a good beer that could be better.
Listening to Da Boss's music and some old Stones are playing... never tire of this Stones classic either!
    Cheers!

Rare that I do this but it is what it is. 21st Amendment Tropical IPA. This beer sucks and tastes fake. Cans nearly exploded upon opening and a good portion of the 1st one ended up on my bar top. Been untouched in my fridge for 4 days. Tastes fresh, just not good. A disappointing, plastic and thoughtless attempt from this brewery. Don't waste your money on it. I shall review and rate it accordingly. They can't all be good!
Time to get out my good luck coin for the next brew. Cheers!

I know the Bell of Bell’s is retiring and the brewery was sold, but I didn’t think it was to a DC area group:

Then again, I bet everyone would love to claim Two Hearted as “one of their own.”

And this just came on, by a “local” singer:

Oh, by the way, regarding your post from the other day: My best friend lives in New Orleans and we visited him for the 2014 JazzFest at the race track across the street from his house. We saw The Meters, Tom Jones and Robert Plant in succession on a Saturday afternoon. The meters were great and Robert Plant and his Led Zeppelin-like band playing Kashmir at sunset was thrilling.
