What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3427

Back home, Mrs O and I are at Pejza’s, an old school west side of South Bend (where I grew up) restaurant specializing in the Polish and Hungarian food that I grew up on.

Before pierogis, this uber fresh Two Hearted is hitting the spot.

I was really, really, really trying to be good this week.
Then I saw the news via IG, and then @Prager62 had to post that pic about Half Acre's canning and distro of Space, a first (I think). Maybe there was a one-off last year (2020 maybe?) but in any case, it broke me like a frozen twig.
So, fellow Advocates, I have broken that vow.
And you know what? I don't mind if I do....

Westbound & Down Western Justice barrel aged imperial stout. A masterful 14.2 percenter after a cold, windy and snowy dog walk to the mailbox.

 

Shit, man, I JUST got back from the beer store. *sniffs* Looks like a worthy acquisition there.... I'm so. So. SO. delighted to have Space in my hand right now....

 

That went fast.

#2, Saugatuck Neapolitan Milk Stout. This is delicious - creamy, with loads of chocolate and strawberry flavors. Absolutely love it.

 

......its not a "juicy" IPA, but it's about as "juicy" as I want my beer, better suited to a hot day probably....
......enjoy what's in yer glass and fills yer ears......

Cold at about 15 with light snow calls for hearty food.

I looked at the corned beef ads and said yeah, have not had one in ages. Then looked again at the salt and for a portion I could be happy with my BP would be off the charts. So Irish Stew with pork & Guinness is tonight's dinner.

I am also very glad I did not buy more than one of the Guinness - Extra Stout. Have not had it in ages and find I am not a big fan. I prefer the draught & prefer porters to stouts in general.

Enjoying a Crooked Stave- New Zealand Pilsner- not too fruity and great.
