Hey BA's, mid-50's south of Asheville today. Happy the wind has finally died down! And happy to be i think thru with the last of my new home warranty items fixes. Reminder to self, never by a new build home during a pandemic!
Finally getting around to my first bottle of Mad Elf which i understand is a sentimental favorite of some of the BA OG. It is a little bit on the sweet side but i can see the appeal of the after warming sip on a cool late autumn or winter day.

Can't wait for that beer later after some serious bullshit meetings this morning. ;(

 

A long whinny story, we just received a quote yesterday to repaint our 11-month-old house, built by one of America's Leading home builders who will remain nameless, for $12,000. The builder painted with the walls with the cheapest paint that could be applied, used the wrong paint on doors and trim, but the builder argued they fulfilled the contractual terms. Had the sub today at least caulk the trim from the house settlement over the year's time here. Da Boss and i hope to be in the house the next 30 years give for mind or body failure.
The neighborhood painter, who works solo, comes highly recommended by two neighbors and will fix/correct all the remaining blights left behind. I am willing to pay for quality as you get what you pay for!

 

Finally beer time ...

 

I'm not quite sure tbh. I'm about 3 hours from Magnolia in Dallas. We tend to get flooded with Texas beers. I would think it's widely distributed in Texas tho. I actually was just turned onto this beer by another BA. Iv been on a Texas beer kick lately it's a change of pace compared to hunting down out of state beers. Cheers!

4 Noses Headed West IPA. A solid IPA that's mildly dank, floral and citrusy. I won the hat at the tap takeover last week and had to pick it up. It was all the excuse I needed to have a beer at the clubhouse.
