Founders 4 Giants Imperial IPA. Fantastic beer lads! A bit redolent of SN Celebration except it's 9.2%. I'm takin' a break from a bit of guitar action. That's right. Another axe. Learning some kick-ass punk tunes. I call it punk anyway. Here's one cool gtr part I just got...Cheers!

 

The kid (anyone younger than 50 is a kid) at the bottle shop I frequent told me that they were getting a shipment of Maine brews tomorrow and one of them is Spring. I had to “settle” for Lunch, Wolfe’s Neck, and Woods and Waters. All IPAs.

 

Nelson IPA 7% - Alpine Beer Company
Fuck I love me some Nelson hops. I think the rye helps this beer pop off to. Cheers!

A recent Tavour purchase, and a home run! Of course the brewery is well known and I’m grateful to snag beers we never see here in SWFL.

Poured at 57°. Fizzy reddish tan head that vanished immediately leaving no cap retention, ring nor lace; body is black as coal with a thin ruby edge when held up to the light; thick legs sheet the glass on swirl. Bourbon and chocolate nose; boozy exhale. Taste follows - lots of hot chocolate laced with generous bourbon shots; bittersweet baker’s chocolate; dark fruit - cherry, plum, fig; bitter roast/ toasted/burnt pumpernickel bread; sweet bourbon finish. Thick heavy minus body; almost chewy smooth feel; alcohol burn on tongue; face warming heat from 13.8% abv; light carbonation. Overall, a World Class BBA RIS!; boozy chocolate bourbon balls with bitter roast counterpunches; great feel/great taste; can’t wait to drink again.

Even though I was just an accountant I got involved in technology when it was still a baby. We are talking mainframe computers (now called dinosaurs). Since most everything was shared I was involved in figuring out how to charge it back to customers.
