...the human body is an amazing thing at times...my left arm will never be 'normal', but because I worked through the issues, I am able to do things that I was told I could never do again...same thing with my one knee replacement...persevering and pushing through the discomfort during initial rehab is probably why I was dismissed from further rehab at six weeks (being at a recovery level most people don't reach until 12 weeks)...I assure you, I'm no fan of pain (let alone discomfort), yet I also firmly believe that if you push yourself just a little bit more than what you're comfortable with, you can get amazing results in recovery...barring problems with whatever surgeries most of us experience, the ones who don't recover well are those who don't follow the physical and occupational therapy regimes for their specific instances...it's a fine line at times -- doing too little or too much, but "listen" to your body and be smart about things, you can go far...

Watching Spaceballs right now, at the insistence of a few people. So far, I am finding it dumb. Probably one of those movies that seemed funnier when the Star Wars Franchise was a little newer? Stone Cloud Footloose & Fancy Free 3X Hazy IPA

Dude, my brother in law fell and separated his shoulder. The doc suggested weeks of rehab. Fucker said no way and did his own. It turned out ok.

Me, I got drunk one night (most every night) and fell. Separated my shoulder and being a ***** I went to rehab. Other than a big lump at the top of shoulder am pain free,

Happy Easter BA. I was up until 5 AM finishing Pirate Latitudes by Michael Creighton. Amazing book all around. Now I am reading 2001: A Space Odyssey. I marinated a butterfly leg of lab in seasoned salt, black pepper, onion powder, and soy sauce. I then seared it on a hot skillet with avocado oil. 20 minutes in the oven to 140. The most tender meat I have eaten in a long time, my meat skills really amaze me sometimes. Instant pot rice with spices too. Had a $9 white zinfandel from Aldi as a palate cleanser.

Oskar Blues Death by King Cake. 1/13/20 dated. Great head retention and spotty lacing. Aromas and flavors of vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange peel, pear, apricot, red apple, herbal, grass, bread; light cocoa, dark fruit, peppercorn, and yeast earthiness. Light-medium herbal/grassy bitterness, cinnamon spiciness, and light tang/tartness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium body. Creamy/bready malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Lingering bitter/spicy dryness, with no cloying/astringent flavors. Minimal warming 6.5%. Not sure what this is trying to be, but it sure feels like a spiced Belgian pale or blonde ale. Well balanced yeast and spice flavors. Very drinkable and unique. 3.68
