No work today (other than continuing to clean up yesterday's mess at home), as the power is still out there. Forgot about that , & almost ran out of gas, before finally finding a place open.
Had to pay cash for the beer. (Oh the horror! )
Don't generally like non-sour fruited beers, but this is top-notch.
Just enough to taste it, but without overwhelming the base beer, or the sense that it is beer.

21st Amendment Blah Blah Blah DIPA 8% ABV 65.3 IBU. A fine example of a WCDIPA. I will buy this again as long as it's fresh...like this one here. Gotta hold out and free more prisoners from my fridge! I still have 4 bottles of Schell's Cave aged Barrel aged dark beauties lurking in there...plus 1 more Stone 25th Aniv Triple IPA. As kooky as Stone can be, they could make that beer 24/7/365 and I'd keep buying it. Cheers!

Good afternoon BA's! A lovely sunny low 60's day south of Asheville.
Today's choice is Hop Rain Drop from Appalachian Mountain Brewers. It is a bit of a hybrid between the American and NEIPA styles as it is very tropical yet clear. Finishes clean and bitter.

16.4% ABV
This was part of the Dead Mans Cellar I aquired.
Can't believe im saying this but this is actually not bad so far
A whole lot of heat from the barrel and well rounded roast , dark chocolate and some nougat or someshit lingering in the aftertaste and not much vanilla
