It's a one of kind beer. Worth every ounce of praise. The oak twang mixed with the yeast still lingers. And the kids talk about how their beer(IPAs) is not as good. Morons.

Spring Frost, this years Pink Boots Society beer for my city, brewed and served at Stemma.

 

Maybe one day some of those young haze mortals will learn, but that's hopeful thinking. Until then, we'll just have to drink all of that oak fermented saison. And we'll happily do so.

Happy Friday. Slow work day. I was up late and finished 2001 at 330AM before going to sleep lol. Started on Dragon Tears by Dean Koontz, he is a talented author. Very descriptive and the beginning of the book is pretty wild so far. Not as easy to read, but you get used to it. I love how every chapter changes the point of view of the story, and kind of intermingles the whole story line at the same time.

Also I bought a Garmin fenix 6 for hiking and biking tracking off the internet. Can't wait to climb some mountains.

I got a parkway get bent mountain ipa. Aromas and flavors of grapefruit, orange, peach, melon, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, cracker, bread, lt caramel, herbal, floral, grass. Good sized pine/rind bitterness. Medium body/carb. Balanced bready/sticky/resins. Long resin drying finish. Minimal astringent. Feels like a lot of Columbus and centennial hops. A bit crisp on resins making this a spot on west coast style. Very dank and resinous. 4.1

The Heady in question found it's way into a glass - for science's sake of course. I know how it tastes from the can - that's my baseline, but I want to see how it compares in a glass.

 

Amazing apps. I got scallops and clams. Medium Cajun spice with garlic butter. I just got 180 venue's on untappd. Almost all of them in the last 2 years. Another parkway get bent ipa
