    Busy day today. Had a Graveside service for Uncle Don today. He was buried out in the country close to the Illinois River. Quick & to the point. Then we all went for Mexican food in town.

    Now it's prom night for Son #2. Mrs. Powell will be glad when that is a rap, as he is very much a diva. He gets the pleasure of taking his girl cross town while the Garth Brooks concert is also happening at the U of A Football stadium. Me, I'll be here drinking a beer & firing up the grill at some point

    New Beer
    Im probably not going to post this on NBW. Why? Because its decent but tastes like many of the hazies and really doesnt have any distinctive qualities that separate it from that pack. I do like Lone Pine but this is another in that sea. [​IMG]

    Trinity In Black a (BBA) Imperial Stout from Estonian brewery Pühaste (13%).

    The BBA versions mellows out the strong spices of the original version quite nicely with it's warming Bourbon presence and oaky highlights, making for quite a rich and well-balanced brew that improves upon an already quite enjoyable beer significantly.

    Its 1 of my top Texas beers to. There are some local breweries here in Dallas that have been putting out some amazing beers to.
