Boulevard Imperial Cask Cuvée Imperial Stout, 13.8% ABV. Aged over a year, it's held up well. One of my favorites, sure hope they bring it back. Another one I should have loaded up on. Hamburger vegetable stew in the crock for supper.

Starting my beer day with one of my Mystery Beers from @Roy_Hobbs , as part of NBS BIF #15, a can of F-W Leo vs Ursus Fortem, canned 3/1/17. It wasn't good.

With the weather looking like spring may actually be here to stay sometime soon, today has been for those last cold weather pleasures. Made up 4 quarts of lentil soup this morning and now on to the the last can of Jack's Abby Framinghammer for the season while finishing off Titus Groan.

 

Lunch with my wife drinking Pop Ya Collar, a forgettable NEIPA.

White Elm Single Barrel Blanton's Imperial Stout (barrel from Louise Hy-Vee Sioux Falls), 13% ABV. I rated this a 4.67, and bummer, my last can. They use the same label for any number of collaborations with liquor stores who provide empty bourbon barrels. This was by far the best I've had so far, giving me a taste for Blanton's, and getting me hooked on better bourbons.

White Elm has some kick-ass stouts and BBA stouts, but their labeling could use some work. Very few of them are photogenic, in that the name wraps half-way around the can, making it impossible to get a decent picture. Hopefully they get away from the puny 12oz cans too. I know, bitch, bitch, bitch.
