Greeting advocates and hoppy Monday, as much as can be.
As I hinted in Saturdays thread, we went for a weekend on the shores of Normandy. Weather was pleasant although sort of chilly and windy.

    Cheers…

One more photo of the cliff I climbed for a nice view:

Thanks for kicking off Monday. @Shanex
Nice beach shot, and of course the vertical.

Making my way through the TV series Ozark, a nice progression of crazy.

And it is Day Time by Lagunitas

Still drinking Rainier. Watching USFL football. Fox upstart. The play isn't bad but the stands are empty.
I don't understand why NFL does not introduce a second tier like the Championship in England.
Smaller stadium. But can you imagine a 30,000 stadium in Portland?.

Have a good Monday. Packed up my suitcase with stuff to fly home. Mostly cans with a few big bottles. Probably will be over 50 lbs. Finishing off the lagunitas. The less bottles the better.

Another night up late means another day early to WBAYDN.

I've moved on from the bohemian to Wibby Brewing's Double Dunkel, a Dunkel lager brewed with cocoa and vanilla. I didn't realize it had adjunct when I bought it, nor did I realize it was 7.5% ABV, but hey it's pretty good and like a rich stout with some decent Dunkel lager character

Good day BAs! Thanks @Shanex for starting today's thread. Another gloomy spring day, the norm for NW PA - violent thunderstorms in the area last night but we got missed yet again. Topped last night off with a homemade barleywine and slept like a soggy log - Mrs. Lizard had her night cap of Coke and couldn't sleep - go figure.

Today's New Breakfast Beer, as I continue reducing the beer inventory:

Annnd - the photo is MIA. Anyway, my nimble fingers dancing over the keyboard uploaded the photo to some eldritch site on my hard drive, never to be found. The beer was Is sa IPA from Voodoo Brewery.

At nearly a year old, it's still a decent NEIPA, probably because of the wheat and simcoe hops. Rating 3.74, rDev -6.3%

Drinking Sierra Nevada Hoptimum. I had one last week, but I had a few beers and it tasted too hot and boozy. On a fresh palette, it's still a little hot, but very tasty and drinkable

Is that close to Omaha, Utah, Juno, Gold, or Sword Beach out of historical interest?

Its further north than that. The aforementioned landing beaches are south of Deauville and closer to Caen where the D-Day museum and memorials are located.

Here I was in Étretat and stayed in Fécamp, two close coast towns north of Le Havre.

Thanks! The location is quite neat and picturesque as far as Normandy goes.

I couldn’t get into Ozark. It started off well before I lost interest, but Day time IPA is a great daytime beer. Rightly named and flavorful.

Think I pounded a little much over the wknd in Miami. Back home, slightly fuzzy, got to get one good beer in to keep my BAC up before starting rehydrating with water for a few days.

    Cheeeeeers!

Founders Frootwood is in my glass now. I saw this one in the store and got excited. It's as good as I was hoping. Strong aromas of bourbon/booziness & tart cherries. Taste is a little less than the nose. Suprisingly sweet. Strong maple syrup. An excellent beer. I rated it 4.13 a chunk above its BA average of 3.94.
