Hey!! It's Barrel Aged Day. Cuvée de Tomme from Lost Abbey.

Really wish this was actually carbonated. It was a 2012 bottle.

Waking up somewhat "cobwebby" after a late night watching the Browns game. Took the day off so I decided to shake it off with a Maumey Bay Total Eclipse. I wish more BAs had the chance to try it. Definitely up there with Founders Breakfast Stout.

Heading to Fat Heads this afternoon for the IBUsive wet hop release. Can't wait...

    Cheers!

Bought some bottles myself but I can imagine that it isn't as good as the hype around it. Probably the same with Blabaer? though I haven't had that one myself.

Blabaer was the same (though I preferred to 50N). I would much rather drink LP Kriek/Fram or St Lam or the Grand Cru

Yeah, LP fram is awesome even better then fou foune imo. I wonder how the LP Kriek will compare

Really? Huh. Just noticed you had a -rdev of 22 for that Eylenbosh recently as well. Maybe gueuze don't cross the equator well?

Would love to have the opp. to form a judgement of both of those, not likely any time soon.

I have had plenty of amazing Geuzes, I just felt the 50N04E didn't have the complexity of some of the other cantillon lambics I have had (that said, it was amazingly refreshing and easy to drink). The Eylenbosch tasted like apple juice :/
I have a sneaky suspicion that the later bottles of Eylenbosch were more akin to the regular Lindeman's geuze and not a proper Oude Geuze like the earlier godly bottles. If anyone has any info on this I would love to know!

Hello everyone, I have just joined this forum and I was wondering if anyone has tried Durlacher Hof Hefeweissbier. I cannot find a comprehensive review on it anywhere. It is priced very reasonably and is subject to the purity laws, but I would like to hear some opinions on it before I buy.
