I’d be dead here if it wasn’t for the beer.

 

In New Jersey (NYC style), I haven’t had this beer in probably 15 years.

I'm so excited I could cry. Absolutely love this iconic beer.

 

Mother's Lake Break

 

Prairie Pirate Weekend Rum BA Imperial Pastry Stout, 14.4% ABV. Pours black, with a slight ring of bubbles, as is typical with Prairie BA stouts. Nose is a perfect combination of rum, cocoa, coconut, and marshmallow. Taste follows, with coconut up front, cocoa and marshmallow in the middle, and rum on the close. Excellent mouthfeel, overall world-class. Should have bought more than two.

This is my new favorite (highest scoring) beer. Damn, they had a lot more available, but I hadn't tried it yet, so I only got two. Should have cleaned them out, and I'm not driving the 800 miles back there.
