    Another Polish IPA. Because one of the best beer shops in Belgium and local to me Bierhalle Deconinck is closing the doors after this summer I will be stuck to supermarket beers and Polish webshops. It's a pity...

    Hey BA's

    Stopped at a local beer store I frequent often, after lunch.....picked this one up, as I have never seen it before, and it was only $8.99 / 6er (how can a beer made in Alaska, be shipped thousands of miles here, and still sell for this?)
    Pretty refreshing on a hot ass day!

    95 degrees right now. The only reason I'll go outside is to walk to the pool and dive in.
    This is a refreshing beer and, at only 4.9% ABV, very quaffable.

    Coal-black body topped with a thin, wispy, light tan head. Big aroma; roasted grains and rich dark chocolate. Outstanding flavor; rich, decadent notes of sweet chocolate, caramel, vanilla; a very sly undercurrent of whiskey; tobacco; sublime earthy bitterness. Heavy body; slick and oily texture; robust residual sugar feel; moderate presence of alcohol warmth.

    Great googly-moogly! This anniversary barrel-aged beer packs some punch and tasty complexity. The richness, depth, and balance truly are amazing. This is just a well-crafted blended stout amplified with judicious bourbon barrel aging. Very, very nice.

    I'm really pissed off today, but hey, I'm alive. And this Nimble Giant is cold. And it's only once a year. That means it must be good. Excuse the sarcasm. I'm just not myself right now. However, that means I will listen to shitty boy band music even earlier than normal. A bunch of guys who are now in their 30's trying to make a comeback -- what could go wrong? Much love, and cheers!
