Its a rainy gloomy day, to start this long weekend off. Thank God, we need some rain in the worst way.

Bill Evans is always good rainy day music, but just phenomenal in its own right as well. His 1973 Buenos Aires concert, Morning Glory. Inner Spirit is the other Buenos Aires concert, in the same series from 1979...you will probably see that one pop up as well today

Oh, and a classic and always great Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

That's what I thought when I checked the receipt was like damn, it's listed for 17.99 online just figured I payed that. Those prices are ridiculous! They are going to have some old SN stock on their hands. Id like to know how many are actually biting on those prices.

That's what I told the lady at the checkout - nobody's going to buy that, it will rot on the shelves. Everyone else around here still has it at the normal prices. She used to own a package store and she agreed that it was absolutely ridiculous.

The beer manager was on vacation for a couple of weeks and I was thinking this is just a mistake, but no - I was there today and bought a few bottles of Gewurztraminer wine and checked the SN - still $25. Plus they haven't had my beloved Flower Child IPA in stock for 3 weeks now which is pissing me off. It's really kind of odd because all their other 12 packs are competitively priced, it's only the SN ones. Cheers - maybe a little bud later tonight.
