    Guten tag, @Beersnake1, thanks for kicking us off on this Wednesday from Germany. Still following your travelogue with interest.

    I had enough of complaining about the friggin weather, thankfully the temps have dropped to just 21c this afternoon here, and it’s rainy. We direly need it.

    I also direly needed this Duvel. One and done, might as well have a great one…!

    Good Day BAs and thanks to @Beersnake1 for starting the new thread. Earlier, I had and enjoyed a Burton Baton Imperial IPA from Dogfish Head. It was a new to me beer and it's damn good. :wink::+1::+1: Looking for something for my next one.

    BTW, @Beersnake1 I really have enjoyed your pictures and travels. Looking forward to the next batch.

    Lux Klassik Pils from Hütt Brauerei (Germany).
    Back from Germany, where it was no beer-cation for me. But no complaints either with this nice beer at the end of every day. Brought one home to relive the moment :slight_smile:

    No beer-cation, but I had a chance to pop out to grab some classics at a large beer and drinks store across the road from the hotel (at an unbelievable low price).

    It's always fantastic. We actually see it in California now, but it's often old. The last 6-pack I found was a year old.

    Next up, before heading to dinner, is Smøk from BrAuerhahn in Freiburg. The brewer is from Connecticut and brewing amazing beers in Germany. This is a 100% Alderwood smoked malt beer with juniper berries and juniper tips. Fermented with Voss Kveik and L. brevis. Smoked ham in a glass. Cheers!

    Great line-up of beers today on hump day. Joining in with my usual NA UA Choco-thing.
    Forgive the recyc pic - couldn't get imgur or post image to cooperate. Hmm...
    Got a 10 miler in today with some progressive tempo. Gym/weights later.
    Tomorrow off, then another big weekend push.

    Hope everyone's well - any good running in them thar nearby hills, near Freiburg, @Beersnake1 - or is this a full run rest holiday?

    I guess most German beers can handle some time, compared to IPA's. But I don't mean to say they are getting better. We don't get any Rothaus here. I always bring some from Germany when I have the chanche.
