    Hey advocates, hoppy Thirst-day!

Drinking SNAPPY this mid morning. Later in the afternoon my mother asked if I could drive her to a local clinic because of her arm/shoulder that’s becoming too painful to handle. Tendinitis? Not sure but the MRI scan will tell more.

    Cheers..!

You can give me this, you can give me that. It’s not enough.

Drinking SN Torpedo. Today is going to be a hot one, so I'm enjoying the the cool morning. There's the possibility we may hit 100°F. It hasn't done that here in 70 years

    'Evening all!

Just back from the physio, where I'm being treated for tendonopathy in both bloody elbows. Clearly have been drinking too much beer and straining my levers in the process...

So, I'd better have another beer to make to check if that's in fact the case.

This beer is from a small town in South Australia called Wallaroo, and is bloody nice! Crisp Lager from Bond Store Brewery.

    Cheers

OK, but a little long in the tooth (7 months), though would pick up fresh or order on draft in the future.

Cheers to Belgian musician Adolphe Sax, without whom you would not be hearing these tunes.

Hello Advocates and thanx @Shanex for tearing open todays thread. Hoppy Thirstday indeed! One of my beer-lovin' bandmates showed up outa the blue about 7:30 last nite so I kinda drifted away from the VB but we pulled various beers. This local brewery makes deep, strong ales that do not mince words. Barrel Theory Through The Keyhole Hazy DIPA 8.2% ABV. There is zero sensation of alcohol. It's only low scoring point is it's aroma, IMHO, which is cheesy. Like colby or mild white cheddar. Very odd but the taste & feel are very good. Cheers everyone!

Thanks for your concerns fellas. To be clear and sorry if I wasn’t in the OP of the thread there was no emergency regarding my mother despite the pain in her arm that last for several weeks. Verdict by the doctor tomorrow via email for her. She’s just optimistically thinking of tendinitis, just a painful reminder that times passes. Cheers!

I've been taste testing several brands of beers over the past several weeks.

I usually buy Budwesier, but it seemed like it wasa rather watered down, so I went with "Truth" from Rhinegeist, but didn't care for the grapefruit infusion. So I went with the "KY van barrel creme" which i rather liked.
[IMG] Now I am trying "Guinness xtra stout' and love it. Have 2pk's of 6 bottle containers right now.
I like it as its black coloured, not that reddish that so many beers go with. Black means its bold taste, feel.

    Good ol' Hamm's.

    I Wanna Hold Your Hamm's
It's the 1st beer I ever tasted. Summer of 1973 in Cripple Creek, CO. There weren't many paved roads there yet. Hamm's was on tap and it was sudsy. My dad let me have a sip from the 16oz chalice from heaven... Oh BTW yesterday I saw Stroh's 30pks. Haven't seen that one in a long time in our Dada-esque IPA world. Dunno if it's a good thing or a bad thing  Probly a good thing. Cheers! Great to be here!
