Then next door to a newish sandwich shop. Cheba Hut. Interesting take on some sandwiches, this is the BLT, and a Saint Arnold Art Car IPA. Pretty good.

The best compliment I've had recently was playing against a high school team where they said you have the best forehand we've ever seen. I need to quit drinking beer. If I'm going to do this tennis thing again, I need to leave all of this shit alone. That said, I'm going to listen to another song I love. I'm happy.

A Monument to All Your Sins, a New England DIPA from Two Villains Brewing in Nyack, New York. I understand this brewpub may be closing imminently due to business issues. I hope that doesn't happen - or if it does, then the brewing operation survives - since this is a really tasty ale. If any BAs from Rockland County know any scuttlebutt, then please post on the NE forum of PM me. It would be a real shame to lose this brewery.

I won't complain about the "added junk" in this one, just enough vanilla to know it's there, tasty brew from Pollyanna! [IMG]

We're getting a sneak preview of Fall this weekend with these 60 degree temperatures. I can finally drink something dark and feel the cool breeze coming through the windows.

Noted as a 'pale lager'(as well as being described as a bock beer) on the brewery's web site, this is a nice smelling and tasting strong lager.

...battling some ragweed allergies today, but a nice, heavy, local rain has helped clear the air...

Well for those folks who don't know the story - like myself, here it is.

    https://whyy.org/articles/fire-jims-steaks-south-street/

Jim’s Steaks owner Kenneth Silver told NBC10 Saturday that the city’s licensing and inspections department does not believe the building on South Street is a total loss and that its structural integrity will be able to be maintained.

Jim's Steaks first opened in 1939 in West Philadelphia, but the South Street location opened in 1976. The building on South Street was originally constructed around 1900, according to city property records.

“We are definitely going to be back for year 48, so just give us a break," Silver said standing outside the boarded-up restaurant. "Visit the other great establishments in Philadelphia. There are so many of us. We’re one big family and we’re one big cheesesteak community."

@russpowell 's grill is greater than my grill tonight. Some drums and o-rings. Burgers and dogs to follow. @russpowell 's beer is greater than mine too. Hamms. Cheers!
