    Brunch burger with an over easy egg. I think I'm taking it home for dinner after all that greasy chips.

    Carolina firecracker pale ale. Great west coast style. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toast, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass. Good sized pine/rind/spicy bitter finish. Medium plus carb, lt-med body, and fairly crisp finishing. Grainy malt and sticky/resinous mouthfeel. Lingering resin drying with min hop astringency. Mild warmth of 5.4%. Tastes like all Columbus hops. Very vibrant and dank with a clean pale malt backbone. Very classic tasting brew. Would buy again. 4

    A more malt-forward India pale ale, perhaps more in line with English IPAs.

    ...knocked out 36+ miles on a morning bicycle ride...lots of bums and homeless camps riding out of Colorado Springs, but beyond that and down past the Fountain Creek Nature Center were fabulous...

    ...now holed up in the 'Fortress of Solitude' indulging in vices, loud music, and watching strawberries dehydrate in my new dehydrator...my kind of 'labor' on Labor Day...

    ...it was nice once through the homeless camps along the southern portion of the trail of Colorado Springs...lots of balloons from the Colorado Springs Balloon Fest early into the ride...didn't see as much wildlife as I would have hoped for, but the weather was great...

    I've said this before, Peche Mortel is one of my favorites (though haven't had it in a long time). But if I actually came across it again in the store, I would never recognize it with the new label. Also, they went to all the trouble to completely change the look, but they still use twist offs ha?

    Been a lazy, rainy day here - no complaints from me since we really need the rain. Trying another Oktoberfest, this one isn't bad. Still a little sweeter than I prefer, but so far this one is the best one of the bunch I bought. Zero Gravity Oktoberfest.
