New Glarus O-Fest
Went to the Drag races yesterday, Rock Falls RaceWay had a good time
I am in the vid on the face book page, I was closer to the exhaust before the vid started, had to backoff heat, flames and sonic blast, I got hit by something that came out of the exhaust in the shoulder.
This is much louder that it seems in the vid.

Back at Oktoberfest Zinzinnati. Rhinegeist Franz in the mug. Had a blast watching the Oktoberfest Zinzinnati World Brat Eating Championship.




Official winner Geoffrey Esper put down a new world record 76 bratwurst (brat only, no bun) in 10 minutes...unreal!

This stuff is pretty darn impressive also.

 

Enjoying a Three Floyds '21 Crushing Mass (Imperial Stout w/ Dark Matter coffee aged in Willett barrels for over a year) while watching NFL games. The 11 months age has slightly mellowed the coffee and barrel character, but this is still a coffee bomb with a rich barrel presence. Obvious dark roast coffee, espresso, dark chocolate, caramel, simple syrup, some peat, charred oak tannin, vanilla, bourbon spirit. Sadly my last bottle of this batch, but I've got the newest batch in the cellar. I'll spend $23 all day on this beer. Intense, but what else would you expect from 3 Floyds?

Other Half DDH Citra + Galaxy. I think this is just a fantastic beer. It walks the line between NEIPA and what I'd consider a NEDIPA.

A Chouffe for the Dutch market. Not to be found in Belgium for as far as I know. All bok crazy here now leaves start to fall. Combined with plenty wind and rain.

Pretty warm out today, but still a very pleasant day. I called it quits last night before 9:00 because I just wasn't enjoying any of the beers I had. I got a good nights sleep and felt lot better today. This beer is tasting pretty damn good at the moment.
