Greetings from Sam Adam's Octoberfest here in the Lehigh Valley! Attending the annual O-fest at the brewery since my Father-in-law retired from here. It's a pretty cool event for current and former employees along with their families.

Running around doing errands all morning...then stopped at a newish spot for lunch. Well the restaurant has been here for a long time, as a cafe, but it has been re branded and renamed. Still the same owners, and is more of an all day cafe now. With wine, beer, slightly different menu. Its always been a good spot, and I'll continue to support these guys. Especially now that the do happy hour specials throughout the week. Place is called Lagniappe, with more of a New Orleans all day cafe concept.

Anyway, an uber fresh Saint Arnold H-Town Pils. An everything bagel with smoked salmon. A pretty damn good lunch.

NBW cross-post. This beer is quite refreshing. It is a perfect fall day. @Shanex, Ava Max is indeed from my hometown of Milwaukee, WI. Speaking of which, my plan for today involves watching more episodes of Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story on Netflix. My initial take on the show, since I have watched and read documentaries on him since the story first broke on the local news when I was a teenager, and I know people who met him before and after he was caught, is that he was more intelligent, well-spoken, charismatic, and methodical than his character in this dramatic television portrayal. I guess I will find out how the show concludes this take on the story.

Put on my Billy Sims shirt & even that didn't help :grimacing: Again I think both lines are suspect & that is really where the game is won or lost. This is how I feel, may have to switch to Air Force Navy at some point. How I feel

Tired Hands Punge. Wow, in the three weeks since this was canned, this has gone from excellent to insane. Another time I wish I'd bought a lot more. @tasterschoice62

Good afternoon, all! Finally ran across Schlafly's Pumpkin Ale on my way through western Kentucky the other day, and I have to say it's better than I remember. Just the right amount of spice to kick up this full-bodied ale. Cheers!

BeerAdvocate Octoberfest Tasting! cross-post. I really like this beer! I do not like the new Slipknot album. Every other heavy metal album I have purchased this year has been excellent. I still buy CDs. I cannot picture listening to the new Slipknot CD after today, though I still love Slipknot. At least the new Goatwhore CD will be waiting on my porch for me after work next Friday. They seem incapable of creating a bad album.
