Agreed. It’s a shame Brewers can’t seem to generate enough offense to support their pitching. At least there’s a glimmer of hope for post season play. I was listening to Ueker’s call off the game last night and it brought me great joy, I’d be down for a playoff game just for fun. Badgers, put a fork in them. Cheers, Micah!

Happy Saturday all y'all.
We just closed on the sale of the family farm (on behalf of very elderly parents). Since we got a reasonable offer in a down market and fearing it sitting on the market through the coming Winter, I am relieved but I wouldn't say happy. That land had been held and worked by the family for three generations. This weighty beverage should help me mull over the gravity of the event for us.


Don Williams is one of Dad's favorites. This song represents a lot of how we feel right now. It's hard to imagine being this connected to a piece of land.

 

Guess I need to invest all my hopes in the team 7 miles up the road to beat Bama for happiness now go Hogs!

Happy football Saturday! Was in the mood for some impy stouts with temps in the low 60's in WNC after Ian has left the area.
Enjoying the vanilla coffee BBA variant of Dark Apparition. Not overly nuanced from the barrel but the blending is so well done to where all parts work very well without any overwhelming. Expertly done, would have this again despite the hefty price tag.

@budsNpils - I finally found some fresh Flensburger Pilsner, best by 05/23, delicious! Has that signature pop when you open a bottle - the Weisen doesn't do that.

Dare Mighty Things with Citra, from The Brewing Projekt. I was at a wedding with the owner of this brewery a few years ago. If I could go back in time I would make sure I not only told him how much I enjoy his fine beers, but also, please, for the love of God, date your damn cans, man!
