    Good morning Belgian friend!

    Drinking SNAPPY, on an also rainy day in these parts. While I was in Normandy near the D-day landing beaches, I had the opportunity to try this beer you’re drinking now. Not bad and a nice “homage” to the heroes of WW2.

    Good morning BAs! Normal chores done, it’s coffee time - Revolution’s “Deth’s Tar” BBA Imperial Oat Stout:

    Canned 10/4/21. Poured at 56°. Awesome beer. One year in bourbon barrels, one year in can and delicious. Bourbon nose/exhale. Bourbon, chocolate, oak, vanilla; bourbon finish; some black licorice, spicy black pepper as beer warms. Among the top for its class.

    The weather has turned drier following the storm, which means our sunny mid 80s days are quite tolerable. Goodness knows the folks in south west Florida can use a break in the heat as they clean up with no electricity.

    I still have 10 hurricane shutters to take down and a back patio/yard to clean and set up; thankfully I’ve good beer to lend a hand…Cheers and have a great day y’all!
