    Good morning all and happy Tuesday.

    Drinking Maredsous Tripel right now for lunch, I saw that @Beersnake1 was drinking it for the first time yesterday. I can tell this is a good one, not underrated but maybe overlooked compared to the other classic Belgian triples we pretty much all know.

    A lovely beer there! Here's a funny story: Years ago when I worked at the Turf Club in St. Paul a keg of Maredsous 8 Brune showed up one day along with a case of proper glassware. This is a busy rock 'n roll college bar. The glasses didn't last long and b4 too long the beer was being served in 16oz glasses and also sold in pitchers. Oh boy. You shoulda seen the condition of some people...knee walking, knuckle dragging...:sweat_smile: NTL it is an excellent beer on tap and would love to taste the Tripel. Cheers!

    Good evening! Thanks to @Shanex for kicking things off. Indeed, that triple is really good! I will definitely be buying more!

    Made it to my new spot in the desert - middle of the Namib. Internet is not quite as good, but I'll post when I can! Lots of dunes here, but I'm right on the Kuiseb River. Dunes to one side and the gravel planes to the other. Hyenas should be making some noise tonight. I always hear them out here.

    This is from a dune I climbed earlier this morning on my drive. Still at the coast. It was cool then. Now it's up near 100 during the day.

    Sipping on a German beer that is probably the most common in grocery stores in Namibia. Schöfferhofer Hefeweizen. Definitely enjoyable on a hot evening. Cheers!

    Hey BA's - happy Tuesday! Man, I am loving the unfolding of autumn color this year - even more now that I am retired! It does seem more like a "normal" year - last couple have been much later in October, and we have had more normal fall weather the past few weeks!

    Having a couple windows replaced.
    While that's going on I'm drinking Transgression Culture, a chocolate, cinnamon, macaroon impe rial stout brewed by Foreign Objects Beer Company in Carlstadt, NJ. This world class beer was sent to me by the very generous @MacMalt. Thanks, Rob!
    Besides enjoying this delicious beer, I got to go on a little nostalgia tour. My father grew up in Carlstadt and in the 1950s we all had Sunday dinner at my grandparents' house. This was when the Meadowlands was just that: meadow lands. If I remember correctly, the first thing built there was a driving range.

    Screwed up with my music videos Sunday LNBA. Inspired by the weekend 1983 tribute and the year music videos reached Chicago via UHF Channel 60 (for us "free TV folks"), two of my favorites from WXRT's flashback.
