Yep. Not sure why it's so low, but I'm thankful and won't complain!

Now moved on to Double Zilla...this goes far beyond an imperial red ale.

Starting with a brew from the city, now onto one from the 'burbs, Two Brothers Night Cat. Very nice brew. I think Two Brothers makes some very good hoppy brews. Nice sticky sweet fruitiness to it. Citrusy and carmelly. If you're a fan of Lagunitas Lil Sumpin Sumpin or even a more maltier pale ale like Deschutes Red Chair, I definitely suggest this brew.

Wasn't cold enough today to justify drinking my last tumbler.

Went with this instead. Was better than expected

Capping off the night with Pipeworks Imperial Hyper Dog. Definitely better than the regular Hyper Dog. I found that beer to be a bit too astrigent for my taste and sort of disjointed. This one is like a more refined version of that brew. Dare I say this beer reminds me of KBS? (Just realized tonight that all three beers I have drank are from Illinois breweries. I guess it's easy to drink local when you got great brewies like Pipeworks in your backyard. )
