    Beautiful day out, and some early afternoon beers at Southern Yankee in Houston. Enjoying their great patio/deck.

    Then a Who's Paul Pale Ale, one of my favorite Pale Ales in town. Had a light snack, to tie me over till the World Series starts...then out with some friends to watch the game.

    I found 3 beers from the UK at Liquor Shed today.

    It says Rich Scottish Ale on the label and they are correct. A super delicious Wee Heavy.

    I was able to sleep in and start my bike ride at 10, and still catch the whole Everton/Leicester City EPL match, thanks to the time change in the UK. Guy Fawkes night there and the Everton fans are setting off fireworks.

    Good Word Brewing The Adventures of Jim, Junbae and Todd Schwarzbier 5.4% ABV. This is spot on for the style. Roasty but no burnt flavors. Light to medium body, very drinkable. GWB rarely disappoints. They do need to work on shortening their beer names though. Cheers!

    [​IMG] Mexican coffee cake stout from Perrin. Was drinking a bit thin with a little too much burn when cold but as she warms it morphs into a cinnamon coffee bomb with a really decent oily mouthfeel. Overall I’m impressed. Perrin is one of those breweries that got bought out by “big craft” beer and never got too big for their britches. Cheers fellas
