    I enjoyed the nutmeg - but keep in mind that my appreciation for nutmeg dates back to the time when Meg Ryan was starring in soap operas. :sunglasses:

    I’m definitely in for another 6er. My appreciation for this beer can’t be stated strongly enough.

    Drekker Strawberry Shortcake Slang Du Jour Sour à la Mode, 5.9% ABV. Pours opaque light red with a one-finger pink head that left puree residue. Nose is strawberry and vanilla. Taste follows, plus cake, slightly sweet, slightly tart. Decent smooth and creamy mouthfeel, overall good. Nose is much better than the flavor.

    Someone on the thread last week mentioned being (pleasantly) surprised by the bitterness. That's one of the things I like. It's on the maltier end of the IPA spectrum, to be sure, but it's still a bitter, throwback IPA, and I love that.
