Not as funny as South Park, but still funny.

Serious talk, and I'm super cereal, Fiona Apple is a Goddess

Tim did a great job on that song, but I’m much more of an Eagles fan when Randy Meisner was in the band. I think Carrack was very happy to cash the royalty checks on an Eagles hit. He has sung several hits but never in his own name (eg How Long or Tempted). Great voice.

I didn't get that one. Instead, I grabbed a bottle of the Imperial version:

My eldest daughter is in total agreement with you! I saw your post and Family Guy popped into my head. I do like her, too

How about a little vanilla BCBS by the fire? I'll be right there!

One more tonight. Be Hoppy from Wormtown Brewery in nearby Worcester, MA. A very nice beer! Cheers!

Iron Hill Kryptonite. IH is a local brewpub, but they've expanded semi- nationally. This is their best brew. DIPA, and HALF PRICE at the bar tonite! Great deal, all around.
Waiting on my daughter to drive in from Pittsburgh for the holiday. She just arrived, so now can relax. I'm sure some of you know the feeling.
And relax I will, calls for a Celebration. Got a pretty goid bill of health from my doc last week, so taking a break from my ****- like regimen. Hey, its the holidays.
Not to get all maudlin and sentimental, but thinking there's a lot to be thankful for lately. In our little solipsistic world doesn't it seem like the Octo beer selections were the best they were in years? And the winter and seasonals are here whole hog. Even Corsendonk, which didn’t make it to the US last year is back.
In the bigger picture, regardless of your political affiliations, the crazies didn't take over. Maybe we get some respite for a while?
I know the mass slaughters haven’t stopped, maybe never will, so don't want to come off as a Pollyanna. But it "looks" like the pandemic is not the number one thing on everyone's plate, so maybe...?
So, as I like to say, Happy X- giving, one and all.

    Fiona Apple albums:
Tidal: A decent debut, not great. Some very good songs, but a bit immature.
When The Pawn: Lots of artisct growth, still hasn't let go of that late 90's early 2000's pop but mixes some more interesting soundscapes.
Extra Ordinary Machine: The studio/record company was terrified of this one supposedly, and there was so much meddling its hard to know what was Fiona and what was the studio. Some of it is brilliant.
The Idler Wild is Wiser: Absolute masterpiece, one of the best albums of the last 20 years. Avant garde in the best way.
Fetch The Bolt Cutters: Even more avant garde, which not everyone enjoys, but almost as good as Idler. I would say her second masterpiece in a row.

She is not just for girls ha. I know thats not what you meant

Not really. Very pronounced roasted pecan aroma and flavor. Very balanced considering all of the adjuncts. Just a very unique Porter from them.

Expecting the Lagunitas stork to drop new beer here eventually, so out with the old… Still super delicious and I thank @Nugganooch for this genius addition to a trade box. Thanks Dane and to all the other Advocates who through trades or virtual bar banter have made my beer year a thankful one. Cheers!
