What beer are you drinking now? #3713

Greetings Advocates. I'm sipping on a lovely stout from Black Hog Brewing in Oxford Connecticut. This is the sort of thing for a snowstorm but we've got nothing but rain forecast this week (later). Meanwhile back in my former Midwest home there's all this talk of an incoming blizzard

 

Founders Mackinac Fudge KBS. I probably shouldn’t drink all this coffee adjunct at night.

 

I don't think anyone can get used to it being that cold!

 

Drekker Chonk Cherry Drumstick. Pours opaque medium red with a one-finger pink head that left puree residue. Nose is cherry and peanut butter. Taste is strong chocolate, strong peanut butter, cherry, and drumstick, quite sweet, slightly tart. Decent thick mouthfeel, overall excellent.

I actively disliked 2018 Vanilla when it first came out. But with a couple years of age on these bottles, it’s drinking nicely!

Outstanding year for BCBS, also loving the 12oz. format. Just stumbled across a place with several cases of these 4-packs, thinking of going back to buy at least one case.

 

Amazing as always. The only beer I know that's this consistent is Heady. SoS comes close, too.

 

Bend. A pale ale brewed by Veil. So far tonight, only Virginia brewed beer on the menu.
