From the In-Bev Xmas collection. I've enjoyed the Golden Road selections so far.

[IMG] 1) BlackStack DDH 755 Experimental 17701 (6.8%): A DDH NEIPA from Minnesota with Azacca, Amarillo, and Citra hops for flavors of lemon citrus, tropical pineapple and zesty mango. Clean.
    versus
    2) BlackStack Citra …But Make it Pop (7.0%): A NEIPA from Minnesota with Citra Cryo for flavors of lime & lemon citrus, garden herbs and citrus flower, and some green melon underneath for some sweetness. (Both matched correctly blind)
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Winner:

    2) BlackStack Citra ...But Make it Pop: Has some lemon/lime citrus notes with some herbal and citrus flower flavors. Juicy with enough green melon and malt sweetness within to balance out any floral or tartness from the Citra. Neither of these BlackStack NEIPAs were really very memorable or ones I would drink again. But I guess that's why they are well-suited for the Post-Christmas Hangover lineup.

Good afternoon, advocates. I had to venture out earlier to hit the American Red Cross, as well as re-up my Russian River supply. Fresh Blind Pig fills my Spiegelau. I need the combination of Justin Herbert and Zack Moss to score me 6 points tonight and I will advance to the finals. Can I win two years in a row? I need to win tonight first. Cheers!

Raspberry Krinkle Stout, a BBA Stout from American brewery Central Waters (12.5%).

I usually avoid beers with "natural flavoring", but this seemed interesting, so I gave it a go. KInd of confirmed my hestitation though, as there is a distinct "browned butter" character to this that feels somewhat artificial, despite a good presence of chocolate and raspberry.

After the Old Bounder, I went with a Cosmic Visions Cold IPA. Still tasty even with a couple extra months on it.

Better. Slowly, but surely, better. The back still at aches constantly, but the actual pain is more rare, usually if I move wrong. Gonna attempt a 6 hour security shift at the theatre on NYE. They bought me a stool with a back on it, so I'm gonna try doing the stage door check.

Plus, I'm so fucking bored it's giving me something to look forward to. Gonna be good to see my theatre peeps again.
