Trying to fix my sleep and failing. Hopefully this will knock me out until mid morning, the the coffee portion may make things worse?.

No drop off now 3 1/2 months post 9/28/22 canning. My favorite BA coffee stout at this point of my craft journey.

Might return with a rare for me second at home beer this afternoon to pair with lunch, assuming I can crash and get a much needed haircut first.

Thanks again @AzfromOz for starting today's thread with lovely views of summer weather - here it's currently 25 degrees F (-4C) and overcast after yesterday which was sunny and clear anf got clear up to 42 degrees F. Seemed like a crime to waste the day inside so Mrs Lizard and I went to a neighboring town 30 miles away - there's a quilt store there. She went shopping while I sat in the car and finished reading a book about armadillos.

Today's New Breakfast Beer is another from the depths of Beer Reefer #1:



Distinctly good but not wonderful - coloration is very dependent on the light source - no head/lacing (14% ABV), "Dark fruity" with malt and an odd sour taste, good mouthfeel and virtually no aroma - still, the whole is greater than the sum of the parts! 3.69, rDev -8.2.

 

Good day BAs! Beautiful sunny 52° walk with dogs earlier. Kitchen cleaned. Now sitting on the patio drinking my coffee - KBS:



Bottled 9/13/22. Poured at 55°. Still sunny and the outside temperature is up to 58°. Another low 70s sunny “winter” day on tap here today n SWFL. I’ve plenty of errands to do, then maybe a beer at the pub later. Cheers and have a terrific Tuesday y’all!

Bitburger. A somewhat aristocratic German pilsner.
Severed in thin glasses in Germany as far as I can remember. With a paper napkin round the foot of the glass.
Outstanding pilsner, from any glass (or even the can).
