It was fresh from the brewery and I mentioned it to the owner and he said it was not a heavily filtered beer and some batches had more "material" in the bottled and kegged product. I first brought Smuttynose to North Carolina and it was a big hit in the urban centers. The Robust Porter was always excellent. It was memorable.....

 

Some beer fridge cleanup with Little O, this is pretty tasty. I’ll try it again next fall.

Interesting - it was my go to beer for a long time until all the drama with them and it disappeared from the market around here. I miss the cans, but the bottles are good as long as it's fresh. These were bottled o 12/22 /22 I believe - too lazy to double check

Art History Dithering Bitter English Bitter. Unfortunately lost a lot of the carbonation, but that's on me for waiting too long with a crowler. Despite being a bit flat, this is outstanding for the style. Lots of flavor for 4.1%. Art History never disappoints, especially when it comes to old school styles.

 

Sorry, I only know about Columbia. There is a good stack of Trop six packs at the Piney Grove Green’s. The variety twelve pack is also here.

Cool! It’s always nice to explore but Maker’s Mark and Woodford Reserve were my staples for my final two decades as primarily a bourbon drinker.

Very good. I drank this over about 90 minutes. Started a dark chocolate, coffee, malt taste. Turned into a bitter hop flavor and by the time I took the final sips it was a moderately sweet, floral tone. Do you get quite a bit of their distribution in your area?
