Fun times, and it was fantastic to catch up with old and new friends down south.

Does this sound familiar? It should - I had it on tap at Fire & Hops last night, so decided to grab some cans at Cliff Liquors on the way out of Santa Fe this morning.

Next up is the Icelandic Winter Ale from Einstök. I am loving this stuff, it’s like a baby barleywine, dates, figs, smoke, nougat, a hint of spruce-y bitterness. Dynamite. Cheers!

My kid brother Johnny got called at noon from the VA (he’s retired…Flight Surgeon…Lt. Colonel, blah blah bah), and 2 ER Docs called in sick could he cover (he does double duty at his hospital and at the VA) and he went in…so I’ve ordered a pizza with wings, and here I sit reading a book and drinking another Head Hunter IPA and awaiting his return…
