I'm tossing back this mid afternoon beer in DrOfGolf's honor. Cheers to the Doc!

I always appreciated that DrOfGolf was a fan of my music so I'm also dedicating this tune to him since it was one of his favorites.

    1) 3 Sheeps Lightweight (5.5%): A Dark American Dark Wheat ale from Wisconsin with flavors of roasted black malt, grains, smokey cocoa.
    versus
    2) Bahaus Stargrazer (5.0%): A German Schwarzbier from Minnesota with flavors of dark malt, pale malt, honey, lightly roasted. Mild. (Correctly matched the two blind)

    Winner:
    3 Sheeps Lightweight:
Listed as an Dark American Wheat Ale. Didn't know that was a style, but I guess it is. Drinks like a German Schwarzbier. Black grains, roasted, smokey, toasted cocoa. Excellent flavors and drinkability. This brewery never disappoints. Going to pick it up again and compare it to some other Schwarzbiers

More File This, a fruitier, Imperial version of one of Untied’s flagship IPAs. It’s a very different beer from its little brother. I enjoy taking part in anniversary celebrations of our local breweries. I’m thankful for them and it’s great to support small businesses which are the backbone of our economy.

@Squire as well - he just disappeared all of sudden. I've PM'd him a couple times but just crickets. He hasn't posted since Aug 11th and was last seen 14 weeks and 1 day ago.

...I haven't watched the video yet, but the video screen splash looks like me on my first communion day back in circa 1963...:sunglasses:

At Nèw Province Brewing. Most of their taps are Tango Uniform. So I am drinking a can of BA Cafe Muy Especial. Too Coffee Forward for my liking

    1) Humble Forager Hidden Headwaters (5.0%): An American Red Lager from Wisconsin with flavors of rich amber malts, baked cherries and caramel, dark fruits, and floral notes
    versus
    2) Lakefront Riverwest Stein (5.68%): An American Amber Ale from Wisconsin with flavors of rich bread and amber malts. Rich honey sweetness. (Correctly matched the two blind)

    Winner:
    1) Humble Forager Hidden Headwaters:
Sometimes this little brewery in Wisconsin puts out some monster beers and this could be one of them. This one has complex flavors of rich amber malts, baked cherries and caramel, dark fruits, and floral notes. Quite a dynamic little Red Lager here.

Oh you got to watch it. Being a whiskey drinker you'll get a kick out of it. It's pretty accurate.

Duvel time, always excellent and one of the best. Slightly more detailed notes over at the online tasting thread.
