What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #3753

Done shoveling for now, settling in with this 13.5% BA Imperial Stout from 1840. This is a delicious beer.

 

I love looking at the reflections on the glass. Is this a current bottle or a few years back? Not seen it this year.

The Oldies but Goldie’s thread got me thinking about how long it’s been since I’ve drank some of those beers. Went to the store and got a 6 pack of Anchor Steam Beer,still as great as it always was.

…morning BAs. well it’s not really morning. just feels like it. drank all night last night. why is Fidy so good!





…had to make myself some breakfast with some homemade chorizo and prepare to take on the day :-)


…had a small share last night. the pineapple cake my buddy made paired with mead that was recirculated on raw coconut and then aged in barrels was ❤️

NBW and ISAT cross-post. I had a wonderful experience at yesterday's Central Waters Brewing's 25th anniversary party. This is the 25th anniversary beer, a BA stout. Above is a picture of a pour of Black Gold, the highest-rated beer in Wisconsin, which is also a BA stout. I cannot say one beer is clearly better than the other. Central Waters Brewing simply makes amazing BA stouts. They make amazing beer.

 

Now that is what you call a burger!

 

Looks like a fun day...good beer, cold weather, a fire, beer lovers all around.
