    Good day BAs! Current 16 F (-9 C) and doing nothing after last night's snow (Accumulation about one inch). Feels like a day to best spend indoors. Today's New Breakfast Beer:

    This came from @Whyteboar and BIF #16. Thanks Craig - otherwise I wouldn't have been able to try this guy! I've never (What never? Well, hardly ever) found anything from New Holland locally. Rating 3.25, rDev -23.25

    (Dammit! Now I have to go through Gilbert and Sullivan to find the reference! Was it "the Mikado" or "HMS Pinafore"?)

    I’ve just called an Art school, for my future plan to join it and follow for several years possibly nearby. Hoping I’m admitted. Will work on it seriously until I leave my documents and all that paperwork by April which is the deadline.

    Drinking Paix Dieu, to almost end this afternoon here. Very good for the style from Belgium. As far as I know and beside American traveling to Europe or traders I don’t think it can be found there, not easily anyway.

    I think I should change my name to The_Beer_Squirrel. Apparently, much like the hoard-loving rodent, I tend to hide/bury beer in places that I forget, only to discover it (or not) later.

    So this bad boy lived on my balcony for let's say a very long time. It experienced temperature fluctuations, potential freeze-thaw cycles, but no direct light (it was under a bucket) not that this should have affected a canned beer. It probably got thrown around a few times too judging by the dents.

    Well, it tastes amazing. I know I'm biased but ain't no better beer.

    Well, it is the last day of January - and I am looking forward to a "real" beer soon! Has not been hard to give up alcohol this month, and I will likely be drinking more of these good NA brews, and not as many regular beers going forward.....we shall see!

    I often run out of space in my fridge (and backup fridge) so I start putting beer in other cold places (garage, balcony 1, balcony 2, porch, coolers with ice, etc) so I sometimes lose track. But you do have a point. Why under a bucket? Who knows. Probably a whole lot of Heady Topper (and Japanese Whisky) and the inevitable blackout that followed.

    That must be nice. I couldn't get away with that here. I have a whole fridge for beer. It's hard/expensive to fill anyways. I got close to filling it up through the holidays tho. It's bare now. I'm hoping I got enough to last this fuckin winter storm tbh. I get that inevitable blackout, whiskey/beer combo will getcha there eventually.

    Hello BAs and thanks @Ozzylizard for 3755 today. It's very frigid here in MN today so my plan is to stay in, rock out, and have some brews. Drums to feed and a purring beer fridge with lots of kittens in it. I've only recently discovered this brewery and their beers are very impressive to say the least. There's a lil' dirty diesel dankness in the aroma of this Portage North Of There Hoppy Pale Ale that is so EZ drinking and refreshing. Earth beer. Cheers!
