    Prices in Amsterdam are insane indeed. Norway is a completely different country. It is huge and only about 8 million people living here (Netherlands 17,53 million, 2021).

    Whenever you go to Norway you should stay in this hotel in Lillehammer. It is probably halve of what you pay in Amsterdam (including a rather fancy breakfast buffet). More interesting is that this place used to be a hang out for Norwegian painters and other artists ages ago. Often they could not pay for their bills with cash and payed wit artworks. Many of them are still all over the hotel, but most in the national museum in Oslo.

    Stopped by Strap Tank's original location in Springville today and definitely was worth my time.

    Probably one of the prettiest beers if not the prettiest I've had so far.

    Sour and tart with grape and almost fruit snack medley like notes, definitely going to take a growler home if they let me
