    Cheers @Shanex forgetting us started!

Very very excited to try this bad boy out, did I beat you to it @Hinda65?

Bewilder + Strap Tank - Barrel Aged Wee Heavy

Coming in at 13.5% and 28IBU

Pours a brilliant and pretty umber with zero head, ring or lacing

Plum, raisin and toffee aroma with a good dose of whiskey barrel

More toffee, malt, and smooth warming alcohol burn

Fairly sharp carbo bite for a BA, but otherwise moderate body

Poured at fridge temp, excited to see how it evolves as I sip

    Cheers!

...we do, too, Larry...high hopes tossed into a gnarly light...it's a strange, weird situation...we ultimately hope for the best, we'll deal responsibly for the worst...

...I'll say that we essentially fall into your philosophy...I mean, Jesus, we want our pets to be family members, yet if it won't work out, then tough choices need to be made...at this moment, we're hopeful for things to work out...but if things go south, euthanasia is not out of the equation...yet the dog will not be put down without our presence...we feel we owe the poor rascal that much...plus, Mrs. BeerGoot has stated she wants his ashes so that whatever his past demons did to him he won't be forgotten...we had no bearing on whatever his past did to him, but, at least we'll honor him as best as we poor humans can...

...personally, I truly hope for a Pollyanna kind of resolution for this little fur ball to live out his life to its normal conclusion...

...thanks for your kind best wishes...

Tough situation. We've dealt with similar. Consider researching and trying a local dog behavior specialist/ trainer. The right one can work miracle often.

...we have got a dog behaviorist coming by next week...the one thing is I'm not willing to throw a bunch of money into trying to resolve things without readily apparent behavioral changes within reasonable time...I don't expect immediate infallible changes, but do expect to see some sort of possible change for the better... it's a dicey situation...I (we) hope for the best and are prepared for the worst...

S.A. Winter Lager with birthday burger at Bad Daddy's Burger Bar. Back home doing my normal Wednesday thing (laundry and TV) and cracked another ROS: Skagit River Trumpeter Imperial Stout. Got this at a trip long ago to Vegas (?); I'm guessing it's somewhere around ten years old as there's no date on bottle anywhere. It's held up fairly well. Past it's prime but not a drain pour.

Thanks for posting, Levon is one of my all time favorite musicians, loved seeing him with Rick Danko, Garth Hudson and band opening for the Grateful Dead before their unplanned final show.

Sorry for your son’s injury @russpowell , hope he is fully healthy to start his football career in the Summer.

Sorry also @beergoot , hope training and love cure Oscar’s behavior, or that he can be adopted. I’ve only been bitten by any dog once, and I deserved it (trying to ride our Airedale like a horse when I was four). He went blind and had other health issues within the year, and had to be put down.

Hoping I can get back to sleep after a long nap so I can get some shopping done tomorrow morning. No more whiskey or beer will help with that goal.

RIP Alfie (our Airedale and my first dog):
