So sweet, I'll save my other bottles for when I can share. 4 ounces would be sufficient.

 

1) Saint Errant Fuzzy Britches (7.8% no canning date): A NEIPA from Chicago with Galaxy, Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo for flavors of orange, papaya, sweet pineapple, and mild pine.
versus
2) BlackStack TDH Pocket Dial (8.3% no canning date): A NEIPA from Minnesota with Strata, Cashmere, Vic Secret, Mosaic Cryo, Sabro, and Talus for flavors of green garden citrus, lime, guava, green melon, and papaya. (Correctly matched the two blind)

Winner:
2) BlackStack TDH Pocket Dial: Well the first post of today went into the wrong thread...oops. No date on either of these but BlackStack is surely more fresh. Fuzzy Britches was excellent when I got it, but has faded a bit over the few months. Still, some nice papaya, orange, and sweet pineapple flavors. A banger when fresh. Haven't seen too many new ones from BlackStack recently so keep going back to this one as one of my favorites. The Sabro and Talus make this one drink beautifully green. They made a beautiful NEIPA but dropped the ball with naming it.

 

1) Utepils Muni Franconian Landbier (5.4%): A Euro Dark Lager from Minnesota that is unfiltered with flavors of dark grains, caramel, wheat, yeast.
versus
2) Badger State SKI-BRW (5.6%): A Czech Dark Lager from Wisconsin with flavors of chocolate, caramel, smooth bread, with some floral notes. (Mismatched these two blind)

Winner:
1) Utepils Muni Franconian Landbier: Original/Cross post with Share Your Side-By-Side as my WBAYD initially went into the wrong thread on mistake. Both of these were surprisingly similar. SKI BRW is a more traditional Dark Lager with flavors of chocolate, caramel, smooth malts. I really enjoyed this unique one from Utepils. Some brown bread, caramel, and almost notes of peanut butter. Yet dry and yeasty like a zwickel. A true Dark Wheat Beer.

 

Happy Wednesday afternoon BAs! Keeping it simple today. This appears to be the actual Irish-brewed version, not the Canadian knock-off, which was a poor imitation at best. Good stuff, hope it remains available. Cheers!

 

I can get it at the Meddlesome Moth not to far from my place. It's tempting but idk how I'm not going to leave with a huge tab.

Seventh Son - Crumblin' Erb DIPA

This is a delicious WC-style DIPA kindly given to me by @jzeilinger. Thank you sir! Apparently it's a joint effort between Ohio's Seventh Son Brewing Company and Beer Engine from Kentucky.

 

I'm at the same spot. I very rarely drink more than 1 beer during the week but the limited availability has me out-kicking my coverage a bit both in cost and volume.

Just nabbed another Ayinger Maibock.

Several walks in again today - low 40's and sunny - not too bad! Digital pedometer on my phone says just under 6 miles thus far.....time for a beer!

Picked up this 19.2 oz can of new Great Lakes regular DIPA this morning - their first Imperial IPA to their year round lineup.....pretty solid



giving me a head buzz.....
